Ahsan Raza
I am currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the
Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Kyung Hee University, South Korea.
I am a part of the Haptics and VR Lab ,
under the supervision of Prof. Seokhee Jeon
which aims to develop new haptic technologies and facilitate novel haptic experiences. My research focuses on
creating more immersive and intuitive haptic experiences by rethinking how feedback can be delivered in virtual environments,
particularly through touchless and multi-sensory interfaces.
By combining engineering with perceptual science, I design and evaluate systems that offer subtle, realistic,
and purposeful tactile cues. I am especially interested in how users respond to different types of feedback and
how these responses can guide the development of more natural interaction technologies. My work spans hardware
prototyping, perception-driven experimentation, and interface design aimed at enhancing presence and usability
in VR and wearable systems.
